Welcome to ChopChop. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ChopChop mobile application, website, services, and related features (collectively, the “Services”).
ChopChop is operated by Modifi Solutions (“ChopChop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using ChopChop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. About ChopChop
ChopChop is a cooking companion designed to help users interact with recipes, follow cooking instructions, manage cooking steps and timers, import recipes, and receive AI-powered cooking assistance.
Certain features may be available only as part of a paid subscription.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally permitted to use the Services in your jurisdiction.
Some ChopChop features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to promptly update it when necessary.
3. AI-Generated Cooking Assistance
ChopChop uses artificial intelligence to provide cooking-related suggestions, explanations, substitutions, recipe guidance, and other assistance.
AI-generated information may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your particular circumstances. You should use your own judgment when following any recommendation generated by ChopChop.
ChopChop is not a substitute for professional advice from a chef, nutritionist, dietitian, physician, food-safety professional, or other qualified expert.
You are responsible for confirming important information, including cooking temperatures, ingredient suitability, food-storage requirements, preparation methods, and other food-safety considerations.
4. Food Allergies, Dietary Restrictions, and Safety
ChopChop cannot guarantee that recipes, substitutions, imported recipes, AI responses, or other content are safe or appropriate for a particular allergy, dietary restriction, medical condition, or nutritional requirement.
You are responsible for reviewing ingredients and preparation methods before preparing or consuming food.
Always follow appropriate food-safety practices and applicable guidance regarding handling, cooking, storage, and minimum safe internal temperatures.
5. Recipe Imports and Third-Party Content
ChopChop may allow you to import or process recipes from websites, text, or other third-party sources.
Recipes and other content obtained from third parties remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. ChopChop does not claim ownership of third-party recipe content merely because it is imported into or processed by the Services.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of imported content complies with applicable laws and third-party rights.
Third-party websites and services are not controlled by ChopChop, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, content, or practices.
6. Your Content
You may be able to submit, save, upload, import, or otherwise provide content through ChopChop (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant ChopChop a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, transform, transmit, and otherwise use your User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, improve, and secure the Services.
You represent that you have the right to provide any User Content you submit and that doing so does not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse ChopChop or use the Services in a manner that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive.

8. ChopChop Pro and Paid Subscriptions
Certain features may require a paid ChopChop Pro subscription.
Available subscription plans, prices, billing periods, and benefits are displayed before purchase. Pricing may vary by platform, country, currency, promotional offer, or subscription plan.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by the applicable platform and are also subject to that platform’s payment and subscription terms.
9. Automatic Renewal
Unless otherwise stated, ChopChop subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled.
Your payment method will be charged by the applicable app store or payment provider at the then-current subscription price unless you cancel before renewal.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings, as applicable.
Deleting the ChopChop app or your ChopChop account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
10. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
ChopChop may offer free trials, introductory pricing, discounts, or other promotional offers to eligible users.
Eligibility, duration, and terms may vary by platform and subscription product.
Unless canceled before the end of a free trial, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription and renew at the price presented to you when you enrolled.
The Apple App Store, Google Play, or another applicable payment provider may determine eligibility for introductory or promotional offers.
11. Subscription Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel an auto-renewing subscription through the platform where you purchased it.
Cancellation generally prevents future renewal but does not normally terminate access for the remainder of a billing period that has already been paid.
Refund requests for purchases processed through Apple or Google are generally governed by the applicable platform’s refund policies and must be submitted through that platform.
12. Price Changes
Subscription prices may change from time to time.
When required by applicable law or platform rules, you will receive notice of a price change and may be asked to consent before the new price takes effect.
13. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content and third-party materials, ChopChop and its software, branding, designs, interfaces, graphics, logos, features, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Modifi Solutions and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use ChopChop for its intended purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or exploit the Services except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
14. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, update, improve, suspend, or discontinue portions of ChopChop from time to time.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or operate without interruption or error.
Features that depend on third-party services, artificial intelligence providers, app stores, network connectivity, or other external systems may be affected by circumstances outside our control.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChopChop is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make no guarantee that the Services will always be accurate, complete, reliable, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for every user or cooking situation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection laws.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Modifi Solutions, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of ChopChop.
This includes losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated information, recipes, substitutions, timers, imported content, third-party content, or other information provided through the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
17. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, our Content Policy, applicable law, or the rights or safety of others.
You may stop using ChopChop at any time.
Termination of your ChopChop account does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple, Google, or another third-party billing provider.

19. Apple App Store Users
If you download or use ChopChop through Apple’s App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and ChopChop, not Apple.
Where applicable, your use of the iOS version of ChopChop is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement and applicable App Store terms.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for ChopChop except as required by applicable law.
20. Google Play Users
If you download or use ChopChop through Google Play, your use of the application and purchases made through Google Play are also subject to applicable Google Play terms and policies.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to ChopChop, applicable laws, platform requirements, or our business practices.
When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Services or by other appropriate means.
The “Effective Date” at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were most recently updated.
Your continued use of ChopChop after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
